Summer Warehouse Pickers

A glimpse at the job:

At Spartan Logistics, it takes the work of numerous individuals to make possible the incredible customer service we provide every day. As a Seasonal Warehouse Product Picker, you will work hands-on with boxed products, accurately and efficiently picking orders. This will consist of reading a pick ticket for individual items to be moved, gathered, and shipped; assembling orders from stock and placing orders on pallets. You will need to stand and lift as part of your daily duties—A great way to build muscle over the summer and make money while you’re doing it.

Ensuring products are being accurately selected and moved to the correct locations, keeping pace with mobile equipment to prevent a slowing in workflow, while achieving the minimum requirements of cases/ day or cases/ hour. This role consists of building pallets of correctly selected products; ensuring pallets are neat and organized to minimize the risk of damage to products.

This role requires open lines of communication with co-workers and supervisors to ensure the warehouse is operating efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Repetitive heavy lifting 35 – 50lbs., pushing, pulling, bending and twisting
• Ability to multi-task and react to a variety of situations at one time
• Possess organizational skills, prioritizing requests and department activities while managing interruptions and attending to details to complete tasks within deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, and communication skills
• Possess teamwork and diversity awareness by listening to others' points of view and recognizing and appreciating differences
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Must own steel toe shoes / boots
• Attendance - On time and ready to work at the assigned time
• Attitude - Are you a positive influence on the team?  Ability to work together without complaining
• Ability/Productivity - Expected team production of 85 trays per labor hour

1st Shift - Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday  - 6:30 am - Finish

3rd Shift - Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday - 6:30 pm - 6:00 am

$11.00- $11.50/hour and includes incentives
