This position requires basic business and accounting acumen, the ability to communicate, process large volumes of data accurately, stay organized, keep confidentiality, and manage one’s own time. Key job skills are: financial and systems knowledge, leadership skills, oral and written communication skills, and experience in Outlook, Excel and web-based data management. Job duties are diverse but interrelated.
Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
•Processing of weekly payroll hours and benefits. This includes compiling employee time, production, and other payroll data from time clocks and other records.
•Verify hours worked, pay adjustments, vacation or sick pay with managers.
•Handle complaints and questions regarding payroll discrepancies.
•Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping all sensitive information confidential.
•Reconciliation of payroll reports and recording appropriate journal entries in the general ledger.
•Be the champion/subject matter expert on the HR management software
•Administrative support for the Corporate Office.
•Compiling reports and correspondence.
•Entering data under supervision.
•Preparing and updating spreadsheets.
•Performing other duties as assigned.
•Organized, positive attitude. Willingness to learn.
•Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
•Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
•Ability to meet and work effectively with the public.
•Knowledge of general office procedures.
•Strong written and oral communication skills. Profession demeanor.
•Basic knowledge of accounting.
•Work in the office from Monday–Friday, schedule to be determined.
•Foster and promote a cooperative working climate while maximizing productivity and employee morale.
•Other duties as assigned.
•Answer phones and assist customers. Screen calls and assist those you can.

Compensation: Full time, hourly with 35-45 hours per week expected. Participation in all company benefit plans.
